BRIDGES

Bridges is an animated film and music composition, telling the story of a man, a dog, and their small fishing boat as they navigate a series of challenges along the River Tyne, to reach an incident at Dunston Staithes.

The animation introduces the seven bridges as a different characters, each setting a musical challenge based on its own architectural structure.

Film premiere:
22 June 2018 at Sage Gateshead, as part of the opening programme of the Great Exhibition of the North.

Live premiere:
20 May 2019 at Sage Gateshead, conduced by Timothy Burke, performed by Royal Northern Sinfonia.
